The local authorities just communicated us the road SP422 from Vittorio Veneto/Fregona to Cansiglio will be open tomorrow.

Initially it should have closed from 8.30 to 17.30 but instead will be open to transit all day.

At the end of the last competition day there will be a prize giving ceremony.

On the classes M21E and W21E will be awarded the first 6 positions on the sum of the times
of the three races. Moreover, for these two classes there will be a prize for the first 6 positions
on the last day results (WRE race).

On the classes MW10, MW12, MW14, MW16, MW18, MW20, MW21A, MW21B, M35,
MW40, MW45, MW50, MW55, M60, MW65, MW70, MW75 will be awarded the first 3
positions on the sum of the time of the three races.

There will be no prizes for direct and beginner classes, except for those born after 01/01/2016
who will receive a participation medal. There will be a prize for the first three clubs.

Moreover there will be two free entries for the Toscana Orienteering Classic for the first elites (M and W) in the last day competition (WRE).

Toscana Orienteering Classic will be held in Tuscany from October 31st to November 3rd. The competition is valid a Mediterranean Championship in Orienteering.

More than 500 entries from 29 nations were received for the first edition of the Cansiglio Orienteering Meeting.

We are working to complete the great work behind such an event. On Tuesday June 25th there will be a presentation press conference at the Regione Veneto in Venice.

The Cansiglio Orienteering Meeting, this year in its first edition, aims to become a fixed biennial event for Orienteering, able to attract athletes from all over the world to our territory.

For three days (June 28, 29 and 30, 2024) athletes will be able to compete in the territories of the Cansiglio Forest, appreciating its naturalistic peculiarities and local hospitality.

The Press Conference will be held on April 12, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Event Center, Centro Sociale in Fregona (TV), located at Piazza 2 Giugno, n. 1.

On that occasion the program of the event will be presented and further relevant information about the event will be provided.

Another Press Conference will be held on June 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the headquarter of the Regione del Veneto, Palazzo Ferro-Fini located at San Marco 2322, Venice.

We have arrived in 2024! This is it, in six months the great world orienteering returns to Cansiglio with the first edition of the Cansiglio Meeting. We are at over 110 registered participants representing 10 nations: Austria, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Japan, Norway, Slovenia, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. The next deadline is 31 March.

The group of masters of Orienteering Tarzo participated in the WMOC, which this year was held in Košice, Slovakia. It was an important opportunity to promote the Cansiglio Orienteering Meeting and to collect some registrations. At the moment we have received interest and entries from Italy, France, Slovenia, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

After countless organised events, Orienteering Tarzo has developed the Cansiglio Orienteering Meeting as an international orienteering event to be held in Cansiglio every two years. Orienteers will have a fixed appointment on the calendar where they will know they are running in the Cansiglio beech forest.

The first edition will take place on 28-29-30 June 2024.
